Effective Date: May 1st, 2026

At Display Attic, we believe every space has the potential to tell a story. From curated retail moments to full-scale Special Event installations, our approach blends creativity with strategy to bring your vision to life, beautifully and seamlessly. The following Terms & Conditions are designed to keep our process clear, collaborative, and enjoyable from concept to completion.

1. Scope of Work

Each project is thoughtfully customized and may include sourcing, purchasing, building, styling, and installation of props, décor, fixtures, and materials. A detailed scope of work will be provided and approved prior to the start of any project.

2. Purchasing & Materials

To achieve the desired aesthetic, Display Attic may source and purchase items on your behalf.

  • All purchased items will be billed to the client unless otherwise specified
  • Custom-builds are final sale
  • Ownership of purchased materials transfers to the client upon full payment, unless agreed as part of a rental service
3.  Deposits & Payment
  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your booking

  • Project timelines begin once the deposit is received

  • The remaining balance is due upon project completion unless otherwise stated

4. Installations & Scheduling

We work closely with your schedule to plan installations efficiently.

  • Access to the space must be provided at agreed times

  • Delays caused by restricted access or site readiness may impact timelines and incur additional fees

5. Special Events

Our seasonal work is designed to create memorable, high-impact experiences.

  • Early booking is highly recommended, especially for holiday installations

  • Last-minute changes may be limited due to sourcing timelines

  • Materials are subject to availability and may be substituted with items of equal or greater value when necessary

6. Cancellations & Changes

We understand that plans evolve.

  • Rescheduling may be accommodated with reasonable notice

  • Deposits are non-refundable due to planning and sourcing commitments

  • Any costs already incurred (materials, labour) remain payable

7. Creative Direction

Display Attic maintains creative direction throughout each project to ensure a cohesive and elevated result. While collaboration is welcomed, final execution may vary slightly based on space, availability, and installation practicality.

8.Liability

Display Attic takes every reasonable precaution to ensure professional and careful execution during all merchandising, styling, installation, and consultation services. However, Display Attic is not responsible for damages, injuries, losses, or issues resulting from pre-existing conditions, unstable fixtures, improper installation by others, structural limitations, or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all spaces, fixtures, products, equipment, and installation areas are safe, accessible, and suitable for the work being performed. Display Attic is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss resulting from unsafe conditions, client-provided materials, or the ongoing use, handling, or maintenance of displays after completion.
